Snowblower JRW Snowblower (Canada)

Does anyone run this on their tractor?? I have a chance to pick one up, but can't find much info on it. Owner told me it is made in Canada, not China. A very heavy duty blower.

Any comments??

I just picked one up this weekend from a local dealer who's had one sitting on his lot for a few years. So far I'm very happy with it - it's very solid and did a good job with the light snow we got yesterday. The manual angle control for the chute is a little clunky, though.

I'm on the second year with mine and it works very well. I bought it used with my tractor. First year it was used on a gravel driveway. This year on concrete.

I have a PDF version of the owners manual another TBN user sent to me if you need it.

I can't find an active internet reference to JRW so I don't know if they are still in business.

I bought a used Kubota B7500 this summer with the JRW snowblower. Weather man says we're getting 12-18 inches of snow tonight! I sure could use a copy of that PDF file of the Owner's Manual if you can send it to me. I gave it a test-drive today and the shear bolt at the PTO drive kept breaking. I've been replacing it with hardware store beolts. My salesman says I can go to a grade 5 bolt, but not a grade 8. Does the JRW manual specify the shear bolt grade? Thanks!

I just looked thru the manual....they don't mention a particular grade...."just don't use a hardened bolt". I use a grade 5 bolt that has the sheer grove in it. For the first 3 seasons, I never broke a bolt. Then one night during a good storm, I went thru 6 bolts in about 45 minutes. Since then, I have not had a problem, although I probably just jinxed myself. Supposed to get 12 - 18" next 24 hours.
