Kioti DK50SE HST
After a lot of reading on this forum across most brands, I've decided to upgrade from my Mahindra E350 2WD 35HP gear tractor to a new Kioti DK50 HST. My E350 did everything I needed it for when I bought it in 2002 but there are lots of projects piling up that I need a loader for and I'd really like a hydro trans this time. I'm picking it up in two weeks with loader arms but deleted the bucket because I want a 4 in 1. I'm looking at the WR Long Ultra Jaw 2 and Construction Attachments compact tractor 4 in 1 buckets. I know I can use the rear remote for the hydraulic function but what are people using for a joystick upgrade so I have a button to open/close the bucket? The Kioti dealer said the company doesn't make one but his other customers have purchased them aftermarket. Thank you in advance for all input! Eric

Eric, before you buy your bucket, check out the Kubota 4 in 1 buckets. They are very good, I like the design of them, more like a std bucket in it's shape and are less money than the after market units. I hope to get one for my smaller tractor one of these days. I don't know if you want a 72" to match what comes on the tractor , but a 72" Kubota 4 in 1 bucket lists out for $2140. You might be able to get some of that off, but even at list price it is a good deal in my opinion.

As far as your 3rd function for your controls, I can set you up with either a diverter type for $649 or a true 3rd function where you can lift, curl and operate the bucket all at one time for $684. Contact Fit Rite Hydraulics if you are interested in more detail. Here is a picture of the control grip that I normally supply.

Good luck in all of your dealings. ;)

I don't have experience with the buckets but you will be happy with your choice in tractor, that is the model I have and I love it

Get the W R Long bucket. It is the gold standard for 4 in 1. Also get the WRL valve that gives you a open close button on your FEL control. I dont think 4 in 1 would be effective at all tied to A or B rear port.
I have the above set up on my Kioti 45 and it has been for sure the best and most used attachment on my tractor.

I have a WRLong setup and have to agree with Scott. I like the rocker switch...it's easy to use. I would get the valve and not go with the ports. Besides, you may need the ports for other stuff, later.

Brian's looks good, too. And it can be gotten as an option with a rocker switch, too. You may want to compare prices. WRLong can be pricey, too.

I have the electric over hydraulic kit...

I knew I'd get great advice on this forum! I have a request in to our local Kubota shop to see how their 4 in 1 and the WRLong compare. The are the nearest WRLong seller also per the WRLong website. I definitely like the idea of leaving that rear remote open for other implements. Electric over hydraulic 3rd function it is.
