Hi guys!

Went to the St. Joe Valley Old Engine Association's tractor show in Jones MI this past Friday. Went with my father-in-law (who happens to be 83) and took a few pictures of our wanderings. I forgot my DSLR (I know, HOW can you forget a camera?!) so I took some pics with my cell phone camera and thought I'd share.

Here's looking at part of the flea market area from our parking spot by the Handicap fence. You can just see the tractor display area in the upper part of the picture -

Here we are at the display area showing part of the Red line up -

Okay Ford guys, here's a Ford 741 Workmaster -

A little Economy garden tractor. Not sure of the engine size -

Moving on to the bigger stuff, here's a Minneapolis Moline G 1000 LP gas machine -

One of my all time favorites - a IH Farmall 706 with a canopy -

A Farmall M wearing yellow "Industrial" paint -

And a Farmall M "Cotton Special" -

I know, not a tractor, but it is a 1935 International pickup -

I like Massey/Harris/Ferguson. Here's a Massey Harris 50 -

Another one for the Ford guys. A little 1100 4WD with a 961 in the background -

I'll end this with another Massey. A Massey Ferguson Super 90 I believe. No decals or markings and no one around to ask.

The father-in-law and myself had a great day. Hope the post wasn't too long or boring.

Thanks, for the pictures. When I lived up in MI I used to go to the Jones Tractor Show just about every year. They seemed to have a decent flea market.

Your welcome GeneD14!

With the economy the way it is, things were a little slow this year. There were still quite a few people at the show and a decent number at the fleamarket, but not as many as usual.

I live north of Battle Creek in Barry County so I'm not too far away. It makes for a nice little drive over to Three Rivers.

Like those soon to be yesterday's iron pics.

Thanks for sharing RG. :)

You're welcome too RG! I would have liked to have gotton more pictures but, I did have to help my father-in-law around some. He's 83 and get's around on his own pretty doggone good but, he does need some help from time to time.

Hey laen64! Glad I could do it! I just wish I'd remembered to take my good camera! Oh well, the pictures didn't turn out too bad for a camera phone!

Looks like a really nice show. I thought the couple of shows in my area has INCREASED participation, and assumed the economy was pushing folks into this kind of lower cost event/vacation as opposed to a theme park or other high dollar event. The shows in my neck of the woods are either free or less than $5 to get in including parking. Theme parks near me are well over $30 a head to get in and highway robbery on food prices.
