Joining the CUT club!

Greetings!

After owning a 1977 JD 2630 Ag tractor (75hp) for about 10 years I ordered a JD 4052R yesterday! I have read this forum for years and gained a lot of knowledge and jealousy of the new technology. I didn't splurge for a cab that I would have loved to have but couldn't justify the money after using an open station for the past 10 years. I did order a lot of options including 3rd scv, rear scv tubing, electric diverter, 4th and 5th scv, power beyond, 2 speed pto, additional lighting, telescopic draft links and 7 pin trailer connector.

I currently own a JCB backhoe so I didn't order a loader but plan too once I am finished with my backhoe.

Dealer told me the build date would be September! Good thing im not in a rush for it.

Has anyone toured the plant where the compact utilities are made? The dealer said he wasn't sure if he could make that happen but would check on Monday.

Will post pictures in several months.

A factory tour would be a great experience... and it's beneficial to the people at the factory too.

Got an update from the dealer and the system provided an incorrect date so they gave me a date as Early as the end of April but pushed it back to June so I could prepare the space I'm going to store it.

Just bought a 4052R also. Got the cab, loader, two rear remotes, and wheel weights. This tractor is identical to the 4066. They have the same cubic inch engine, same wheel base, same weight. The only difference is the horsepower which could come from a different injection pump, different turbo or both. The only added features is an air ride seat, window wiper, some extra lighting, and 14 horsepower for a whopping 6 grand. Didn't add up for me. Should have it for Memorial weekend.

Well after a 6 week delay in the build date and the dealer taking longer than I anticipated to install all the dealer installed components it was finally delivered Friday 8-19-2016. It is an awesome tractor and know I will get a lot of use out of it. Thanks to this forum and reading all the discussions to help me determine what I wanted to get!
