Hi everyone! I'm a new guy around here. Never owned a tractor like this before but am looking forward to it. It looks like it will make a lot of projects a lot easier for me.

So, I just put in an order for a JD1025r FILB and a PHD. But what I'm missing is a thumb for the backhoe. I searched around a little but didn't find it yet. So...

Either supply a link.

Or

At least give me the width of the backhoe arm because I think my friend and I can make one..

TIA!
Bill

You can also make a search on this site for more info on Bro-tek and ask members how they like it. Enjoy your new toy and put some pictures.

I sent Bro Tek a message so we'll see where that takes me. It looks like there are others as well but bro-tek is a good way to go.

I've never owned a tractor like this before. So I'm completely green. No pun intended. LOL! Anyways, the first projects I have for it is pushing in a cinder block foundation wall and filling the basement with dirt. Small house so it shouldn't take too long I wouldn't think.

The other thing is the front porch. Not sure it'll be able to push that in the basement or not. It's pretty stout.

The last project is breaking the cap to a drain field. Do you think the backhoe will break the cap up into the drain field so I can bury that too?

Do you guys think this tractor can do these projects?

That is really cool! I'll have to ask about it when he responds to my first email.

Did you purchase a thumb for your 1025r FILB? I too just purchased the same tractor and am interested in the thumb. Any details you can provide would be great.

Nick:

Where did you by the thumb for the JD 1025R? I'm looking to buy this tractor if I could find thumb that fits and is functional.
