Front-End Loader Johnny Bucket cyl. sizes

Anyone know the bore and stroke hyd. cyl. sizes on the Johnny Bucket Sr. I would like to build something similar.

Steve, you can get on the johnny bucket web site and look up replacement parts for the sizes of the actuators. I am about 90% complete on my home made johnny bucket project for my craftsman garden tractor. I used dc actuators from surplus center, they are rated at 500lbs (just like the johnny bucket) and have a stroke of 4 inches. Just get the actuators, some size 8 or 10 wire, inline fuse, and two switches (momentary), and do a little fab work. Mine will lift the front of the tractor off the ground.
