John Deere X744 AWS- Change from 26x10.50-12 to 26x12-12

John Deere X744 AWS-I can't find any information on changing from the Turf tires which are 26x10.50-12 to a Carlisle 26x12-12 Tru Power Lug which is more of a Ag tire. Anyone change to a 26x12-12 without clearance issues with the AWS or other issues? Thanks!

I also put this in the tire forum, but think I might get a better answer here..

Wild guess is you will have clearance issues if you have mid mount mower deck.

I am guessing this might be the case, but I really can't find a set of tractor tread tires in 26x10.5-12. I was wondering if anyone with AWS has found tractor tread/more aggressive tires in 26x10.5-12.

I'm looking for more traction on snow, dirt and while do mow my grass with it, I would prefer a more aggressive tire pattern than what is available in turf tires. I do plow snow with chains and weights. All I can find is ATV tires in 26x10-12 and thought maybe someone here has replaced the turf tires.

Maybe the HD tires that came on the x749? We have the x744 and my dad has the x749 with the HD 26x12x12 tires for mowing and snow. Per the sales literature, the AWS models with the HD tires were 26x12x12.

I am considering 26X12.00-12 Carlisle Tru Power Lug Tires 4 ply , but just don't want to put out money towards rather expensive tires if they will not fit. I realized the X749 came with 26x12-12, just want to know they will fit properly before ordering them. Some literature out there even says the X744 came with 26x12.00-12, but they came with 26x10.50-12. I checked John Deere's Parts site and they list 26x10.5-12 as the only tire for the X744. I figure the 26x12.00-12 will fit, but again, it could be an expensive mistake.
