does anyone know if the 4 year warranty on x500 series tractors is transferable. I was told it was, but according to deere's website it states "original purchasers" and nothing about transfering.

I checked JD website and agree with you as far as what it says but I have learned the website info is not always the gospel. I'd email the question to John Deere and/or check with the dealer.
