I saw this posted on Facebook Marketplace today. Of course its a Can Am not a John Deere, but I was thinking that if John Deere had actually produced a side by side UTV like this with their dealer network that would have moved very close to the top in sales. The Can Am Defender is a very impressive UTV but looks darn impressive in John Deere colors.

Like the other other guys have said, John Deere does make a side-by-side with air-conditioning and heat and wipers just like my Can-Am limited

I just wanted to share the picture of the Can Am Defender painted in John Deere colors. I know that John Deere makes some very competent side by sides.

I wanted a new Gator with cab and AC, but I couldn't bare the over $50,000 price tag here in Ontario Canada.
For the price of the Deere (or Polaris or Can Am for that matter) I got a loaded RTV-X1100C cab model with climate control, a Boss vee plow AND a Z-Force 950 EX HO sport side by side.

Your initial post suggested that John Deere did not make a side by side "if John Deere had actually produced a side by side UTV like this"

I took it he meant a JD that was closer in performance to the Can-Am Defender. The JD is nice but not really a trail machine. The CanAm is a great worker but an even better off-road touring machine. About 30hp more, 50% more wheel travel, and top-notch lockers.

That was my intent. I actually had owned a couple of the old gators back in the 90s. They were slow back in the day with the 4x6 side be side being capable of about 15 mph top speed. It was an incredible workhorse however. Deere took a long time to move to a more "sportier" version of their side by side. I even had an old AMT622 (5 wheeler). A great work vehicle but not very off road capable.

As my previous post stated I think Deere makes a very capable deluxe model of a side by side UTV. But I don't think the are quite there yet as compared to the top of the line models of the Can Am Defender or the Polaris Ranger. But for the record, I love anything painted John Deere green with yellow wheels.

The person that made the Defender look like a J.D. did a good job! Its pretty sharp!
