I have this JD TRS27 snowblower. While blowing snow the auger would load up with snow and quit. I would back up and start again it would blow snow till it got heavy and then quit again. I pulled the belt cover off and the auger belt was bad. I replaced the belt with a new one. Last snow it did the exact same thing again?? I clamped down the auger engage handle and pushed on the auger blades and they would turn, not freely but would move. I checked the pulley to make sure it was tight on the shaft and it was. The impeller would not turn. So I moved the augers again and it is moving inside the auger gear box. I have never seen this before. My thoughts are it should not move. Right? If it shouldn't what do I need? I am not looking forward to taking out the auger. Actually not sure how to do it. Anyone have any ideas. I hope that this is the right place to ask the question
