Does a seed hopper off of a 490 series fit the 70/71 Flex planter. Thanks in advance.

YES. 290/490, 246/247 446/447, 494,495,694,ect.... ALL Deere plate type planters built since the mid 1930's used "type B" plates and the same basic cnfiguration of seed hopper. The ONLY case where they DON'T fit is with some of the larger fiberglass hoppers that don't clear certain types of toolbars mounts.

I've got 246/247 cans on my #70's and 446 seed cans on my #71's now.
