Now thats what you call stuck!! /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
Bet he uses more than round pointed shovel to fill in those holes and ruts.

Looks like he may have waited too long to lock the rear diff!

What is it that he's towing? At least I hope he was towing it or at least disconnected it from the 3ph. The angle he's at, I can't imagine it could still be connected.

Now I may be dumb, but don't you think you would have stopped before you got that stuck?

Paul, been there, done that. You're going along, hit a wet spot that is maybe 30-40 feet in diameter and start sinking. You raise the implement but it doesn't come out of the ground because your hitch-point is low and getting lower. You can't back-up because the implement in the ground. Traction is a few feet away. The nose of the tractor starts to climb out putting the hitch point even lower because of the angle of attack. You already got the implement raised as high as possible but it's still in the ground, now, anchor-like. Yeah, you wished you had stopped 20 feet back but earlier you were able prevail and swore you wouldn't get too close to that wet spot on the next round. Hey, sh*t happens./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

Never been stuck like that,/w3tcompact/icons/shocked.gifbut in the past...will you know...just one more pass thru and just one more time when I know better..than ending up getting equipment bigger to pull the tractor from the suction of the mud...will I learn hope so. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

It is a field cultivator and is drawbar mounted not 3pt. He also has tripples on the rear and probally thought he could float over it but unfortunately realized his mistake a little too late.

Those triple tires will provide an awfully mean suction against whatever get's to try and pull it out. Maybe he should cut back on the watering?

Wish a had a pic to share but I was tooooo ashamed to take it./w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif
I would clearing some brush with the FEL along my drive after we had several days of rains. The ground was dry on top. I had a LOT of vines, brush, etc. in my bucket and was pushing more off of the drive. In a moment of stupidity I decide I would lift the bucket and rip up those vines so they would die./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif
The FEL bucket went up and the front down went down to the frame. So I used the bucket to raise the front end to back out!/w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif
The rear quickly slid to the side and sunk in DEEP./w3tcompact/icons/mad.gif
It cost $150 to have it lifted out. The ground had dried around the tractor!/w3tcompact/icons/blush.gif

Hey! Those are the picts we live for. /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Look at it this way -- on this board we don't have to learn from just our own mistakes. We can also learn from each other. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

At least that was the thinking that led me to start the original Stupid Tractor Tricks thread. /w3tcompact/icons/crazy.gif
