Spreader John Deere Lime Spreader

I was given an old JD lime spreader that may be salvageable. It's a model LF; serial number 26266. I'm not really familiar with Deere stuff... does anyone know if there are manuala and (hopefully) parts avaialable for this unit? I'm not even sure of where to start looking (no JD ag dealers near by) so any info would help at this point. Thanks!

You MIGHT stumble on to a manual on EBAY. Parts have been virtually extinct for several decades. E-Z Flow spreaders are for the most part the same. Maybe you can luck on to a few parts for them, as E-Z Flow spreaders were far more common.
