I have a John Deere LT155. I have removed the starter coil because I suspected it was bad. The engine would not turn over. So I jumped started it directly to the starter, grounding the Neg jumper cable to the frame. It turned over and started and ran for a few seconds then stopped. Now I can not get it to start. Also I now have no spark from the spark plug. I will replace the started coil tomorrow, then I will try to start it again. Why no spark, did I burn something out?
