I recently purchased a 2014 HPX (gas) and in the last few hours or so some oddness has developed. Started around 9 hours and now have 12 on it. I just wanted to see of this is normal for the HPX or weird.
1) going fast, there is a noise coming from the front of the machine...sounds like a rattle or someone throwing rocks up from the ground. It is coming from right below the radiator/front foot area
2) this started more recently. For some reason, starting out slowly the machine will accelerate a little, then there will be a jerk and it will continue accelerating. It is more pronounced while starting out slow, it is less of a bump if I accelerate quickly.
3) this is more of a dumb question...regarding traction assist. Is engaged down or up? Manual says pulling up disengages but that doesn't seem right to me. Is there supposed to be an indicator on the dash?
I have had neither of these issues on my older (~1997) gator...and there is also a traction assist dash light
Any help you guys could offer would be appreciated
