Just for fun, I occasionally check the prices on the John Deere H at TractorHouse.com . We turned one down for $250.00 in the '60s. The cheapest asking price I saw was over $4000.00.

I remember my parent's first house (1961) was a semi-detached bungalow for CDN$14,000. They needed my grandparents to co-sign the loan/mortgage.
