Is there anyway to check a FE213475 sensor? I hate to have to purchase 2 of them if there is a way to check to see which is bad. Any help would be appreciated.

I think you mean RE, NOT FE prefix of the part number.
This is a "Hall Effect" sensor.
It should have three wires, Positive, Ground, and signal. Depending on the type the signal wire could increase in voltage when a magnet comes near the sensor or decrease.
I suggest "google" Testing hall effect sensor Bimba.com has a test procedure.
