I'm in the process of fixing my 4300 diff lock and while it's torn down I'd like to knock the rust off and re-paint the back end (maybe the whole tractor if the back goes well). I see that there are 2 (or more) types of JD black paint available, gloss and Blitz Black.
John Deere Black Paint TY25631
John Deere Black Spray Paint TY25609
Thinking Blitz Black is what I need but figured I'd check here first?
I've used rattle cans for years, but now I own several paint guns that came in a toolbox I bought from a retired auto body guy so considering going that route. Is it best to get the JD reducer and hardener too? or other? I'll be selling the tractor in a few months so it's not something I'll be looking at for the next 20 years but willing to put in some work to make it look semi decent.
Thanks!
Ryan
