Here is what I was doing tonight. Harvest is almost over here in central IL.

Real nice rub it in for all of us that cant drive those big tractors. Biggest one I drove was my neighbors Case MX255 with the dual tires all the way around they sure are fun but take some area to turn around. How many arces are you going to do?

Well from the pictures it looks like he's doing an area the size of Rhode Island.

Nice pics! Looks like a 30' disc... or more! You'd need a field the size of Rhode Island to get turned around.

Where's the goose pits? And the deer stand?

This is a 17' 6" disk ripper. It rips 14inches into the ground pulling up to 8mph. We farm 2000 acres in central IL. I will run this plow over about 1200 acres of corn stubble and disk where the soybeans were this year-800 acres.

24 gears and 400+ hp makes for a fun time.

That is a beast! We don't see many that size in central Pa but we don't have the amount of acerage either.

I have spent many hours on a JD 4520 (not the CUT) mowing, disking, etc. It can be fun also

We have had several inches of rain in the last few weeks. I would say the plowing season is over for this year. We will catch up in the spring before planting. Next spring we are looking to have a new 45 foot field cultivator to pull with this tractor.
