John Deere 8300 Wiring Diagrams

So my grandfather bought a new to us 8300 Deere its a 96' model with around 4k hrs on it.

Bought it sight unseen so naturally there are a few small issues, the last one we have to straighten out is an issue with the turn signals, He is an electrician and I am an electrical engineer so we can track it down I just need a wiring diagram and I am not having any luck finding it online, would any of you be able to supply the wiring diagram for the turn signals?

Have you considered getting the service tech manual for the 8300? I find them worth every penny.. for just the things you are looking for plus a lot more. Bought mine at the Deere dealer. There are other options.. such as eBay too.

Not up to me we are trying to get this sorted so we can get it home, already paid a friend to haul it to his place gotta get the lights straightened out so we can bring it home from the friends place. His driver is gone on another run already so trailer is not an option lol. I don't think my grandfather is looking to spend the 500$ on the manual considering he asked me to track the diagram down online.

Another option is to ask the deere dealer to bring it up, and make a printed copy for you.

beenthere makes an excellent suggestion. My own JD Dealership is more than happy to print off a relevant wiring diagram.

No experience with an 8300, BUT when I first got my JD 6415 (used) my combination turn signal/warning lights did not work correctly. One would be "ON" all the time and not flash when warning lights or that turns signal was turned ON.

It turned out the battery was going bad and the computer was not getting the correct voltage (too low) a new battery fixed it.

What problem do you have with the turn signals? I have access to the manual, but it is a format that won't allow me to post it and still be readable. There are several fuses involved. F1, F2, F15 or F19 depending on serial number, and F32. Also multiple relays, IcU controller and CCU controller. Arethere any error codes when trying to turn them on?

I was not able to go look at it before posting this, my grandfather had just asked me to track it down, I went over and looked at it today the problem is the high beam switch. It will not stay engaged, if you pull back to "flash" the high beams they come on but if you "click" the high beams on they don't come on at all.

Its a problem with the microswitch I believe, I saw a thread on newag talking about the same thing they said cherry dc-1 was the switch. So I am going to hopefully tomorrow get to pull apart the turn signal module and find said microswitch and get it ordered. No way in heck are we gonna pay Deere 400$ for the whole module for a 1$ microswitch.

I was under the wrong impression when I originally posted this, they brought the tractor home, this is the only problem so disregard my last reply in this topic, some people are not great text communicators lol, he had me going in the complete wrong direction lol.

Thats all the further I have made it grain dryer wouldn't run so we got busy with that this afternoon XD.

Any of you have any experience with that problem?

We have friends at the deere dealer the object was to not drive 25 minutes to get it printed XD, its all good though ill go get it printed on monday if we still need it.

Will update tomorrow hopefully.
