John Deere 790 fuel gauge and temperature gauge don't work

The fuel gauge and temperature gauge aren't working on my 2002 John Deere 790 Compact Tractor. I discovered a mouse nest under the dash. The only damage I can see is on a red wire from the voltage regulator. Any ideas?

I own a JD 3005 and discovered both my fuel and temp gauges are non-operative. Both stuck in rest mode. Ran tractor for few minutes and no change. Going to check fuse box next.
