John Deere 755 loosing idle

Hello......was wondering if someone could help me out with my john deere 755. It starts right up fine, but when just sitting idling it looses rpm`s, and when you try to go forward or reverse the rpms drop right off. Changed fuel filter but that didn`t help......Not sure where to go from here, Like I mentioned starts right up fine, no problems at all....thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.

You're gonna need to give us more info. What happens if you throttle up? Does it run okay then? You say rpms drop at idle. Does it actually stall, or keep running at a lower idle speed? How low is low? How many rpm's on the tach at a steady idle speed?

Make sure the fuel shut off solenoid is remaining fully engaged, and not somehow sliding back toward off position. Start and run positions are controlled separately.

I sound like a broken record but is your. Electric fuel pump running ? The brass screen in the tank can plug up also with Algae
