John Deere 5400

Hello,
I have a John Deere 5400 tractor. It has what appears to be Chinese or Korean writing on it. It was purchased with the farm and I do not need it. I cant find a serial number. It runs good. AWD / Heat and air in cab, etc... A bit rough. How can I identify this tractor. Willing to sell for a minimal amount, just need it out of the way.

Here is some information on the 5400 that maybe useful to you to sell it. Serial number plate on left side of frame, above the front axle.

jd5210, thank you. this will help. I am thinking thus far of about $7000.00. It has an 8ft mowing deck and a front loader as well. I am definately lerning more about the tractor world than i ever intended. lol

Once you find the serial number this link should help you determine what year it is.

Just guessing, but if the loader is a 540 here is a link to the operators manual.
