Does anyone know why a John Deere would chug down when put in C3? It sounds like i am pushing the brakes or something. i can put it back in C2 and it runs fine.

When is the last time you changed the fuel filters? Are you pulling something at the time?

Its my dads tractor. I think he changed it this spring but i will check. Thinking about that it might also be an injector problem. Thanks.

Yes, could be an injector problem. I take it you do not have any problems starting it? Could be a timing issue, or dirt clogging the screen (If there is one right before the injector). I have an old muti-fuel diesel engine giving me the same problem. Check all the lines and make sure there they are tight and there are no pin holes or hairline cracks, allowing air to get in. It doesn't take much...
