john deere 5203 pto

ive been running my 5203 all over my farm and when im using the pto it works fine but when I disengage it the indicator light stays on help would be appreciated thanks

I suggest starting by checking to see, if the PTO switch is stuck. It would not be hard to get dirt up were it is located. I believe you will need to remove the left fender to get to it.

Since the PTO switch is a safety switch I would think you would also have problems starting the tractor.
