John Deere 4400
I bought a John Deere 4400 new back around 2001 with hydro and later had a 4 in1 bucket installed the tractor is a tank. I am curious if anyone has ever replicated a plastic hood and side panels out of metal like some of the other brands of tractors have.

Photos of what you have, and why you want to replace please.

If I were to replace them it is because they are made out of plastic and they are prone to cracking and breakage.

I have some cracking in my 4300 (sticks caught up by the FEL and front wheels when moving brush) and in my 455 and 425 panels. Thought about the aftermarket replacements but worried that the green paint wouldn't match up well. Maybe others know how well they match up.

Instead, I decided to try stitching the cracks with the hot melt gun, one of several on Amazon.

The results for me have been great. Heat up the small staples and melt them in across the cracks on the backside. Still can see the cracks but have the strength to hold the crack closed.
