Hello all. Hoping to get some good advice on a steering problem I have a new to me John Deere 430. I picked up a 92 430 with 900 hrs on it. I have a 318 and 420 and both have tight responsive power steering. The 430 takes almost 1 full rotation of the steering wheel to make the front wheels start to turn. But turning right is about half as much input from the steering wheel to make the front wheels turn. This lack of steering response make it hard to mow straight lines to say the least. I was hoping some one out there has ran into this problem before. Also I noticed that it runs perfect cold after about 1 hours of mowing if you disengage the pto and idle the engine it misses when you engage the blades and increase throttle to mowing speed. One the engine rpm picks up the miss goes away no matter if in thick grass or engine loaded down. Thanks in advance for any advice. Nick
