Hello all.

Was mowing tonight and the oil light came on. Stopped right away and checked the oil. It looked fine, good level. Then took off the oil filter and briefly started the tractor and oil shot out 2 feet from the fixture. So, I have oil pressure.

Has anyone changed to a regular/real gauge? I think the oil sender is behind the exhaust pipe on the left, but I’m not sure; that could be the temp sender.

Can someone clarify where both of those senders are for sure? And, other than changing oil, the filter, and press sender, am I missing anything?

Thanks all.

According the the parts manual, it's right next to the oil filter.

Awesome. That’s where I thought it was. I am seriously considering putting a gauge in its place if the sender has failed. Thank you.
