John Deere 425 carb isn稚 getting gas,fuel pump works,Filter is new and bowl is full

I am either missing something that痴 right opinion front of me or there痴 something wrong with fuel system.
My carb got so dirty it had to be ran 1/2 choke just to keep it running properly.
I pulled carb off and soaked it in lacquer thinner,then cleaned jets and reassembled.
The bowl is full of gas but they壇 no fuel making it through Ventura.
Electric fuel pump works great,new filter isn稚 clogged.
There痴 a wire that goes to a plunger on side of carb and it痴 hooked up.
I need to get some air and blow it through carb throat to see if Ventura will spray but I don稚 think it will because it won稚 with choke closed and engine cranking.
Am I missing something or is something clogged up I over looked.
Here痴 a link to diagram of carb and I see I missed cleaning main jet where wire goes in but I can see needle valve on bottom of bowl.

I let an inexperienced mower use machine and they ran it in dust,mowing leaves 1-2 foot thick until the engine died and it clogged the oil filter and now it has so much blow back I think the engine is shot.

If the air filter was working properly that shouldn’t have hurt anything. If the air filter wasn’t installed properly than it’s demise wasn’t the operators fault. As to the original post I’d make sure the the fuel shut off pin with the wire going to it is working.

Many owners fail to do a proper carb clean. Soaking in a solvent wont to it.

The emulsion tube under the main jet in many carb designs has small holes that need to be poked out with a fine strand of wire.

The main jet needs to be unscrewed with a bit that exactly fits the slot in the main jet. Use too small a bit and you destroy the slot and have an even bigger mess.

Get a set of replacement screw driver bits and find a large flat one which just fits tightly into the main jet slot.

Push down hard while turning to break the main jet loose.
