I started tractor, it started moving, i turned on head lights, the motor died. Won't do anything... I checked all fuses, fusable link, battery. all good. bypassed seat switch. did not help. nothing. no lights are anything.. i'm thinking maby a neutral safety switch, but don know where to look are what i would be looking at... please help. i'm stuck.

G'day Mate and welcome to TBN from Downunder.

Will the engine at least turn over? Is there a rapid 'clicking' sound indicating that the fuel pump is working?

I know you said it won't do anything... we just need to clarify.

Neutral switch will still allow the lights to work, how did you "check" the battery? Did you measure voltage?
JD batteries have a history of dying just like you stated-all of the sudden.
