does anyone know if there are any other places that sell yanmar parts for the john deere 332 3tn66uj motor? im going to have to rebuild the motor so im trying to keep this as cheap as possible. if not then where is the cheapest parts that i can get from john deere such as a rebuild kit for the motor

I would try eBay. Put in Deere 332 and see if what you need is there.

I like to start by finding the correct JD part numbers then Google the part numbers.
Mississippi Engine Co might be a good source. They sell on Ebay

John Deere - Parts Catalog

Then search for 332. It will display a list and I think yours is the top one.
Click on the 332 Lawn & Garden tractor (if that is what you have)
Then I like to use the "Sectional Index" so click on that...
Then in the sectional index click on "Engine"
After that you can select any page to see the parts.
Below you should be able to see part numbers as per the item with descriptions.

great thanks! i called the local john deere here in town, they were having a hard time trying to find some .010 over rings for my 332. are parts becoming scarce for these mowers?

I don't know if they are getting scarce because I have never heard of anyone needing to overhaul a Yanmar motor in a 332. I have the gas version of the Yanmar in my 322. It is a 1992 with 692 hrs, barely broke in. I rarely use it because I have a 72" mower deck on my 4310.

Maybe for the oversized parts... :confused3:
The 3 oversize pistons # AM875032 show up around $95 ea
But the oversize ring kit # AM875033 is harder to find a price on.
