Hi All: I have acquired a 1987 JD316 and am slowly repairing/restoring it. Nothing fancy, just some rattlecan, a new seat, new hood, tune-up, new quick-connects, ags on all fours, new muffler, etc. etc. Was actually in pretty rough shape when I bought it. Starts good, runs good. Smokes for about 60-90 seconds at start up and puffs a bit when you jack it from idle to full throttle, othwize purrs right along. I'm guessing a rebuild or repower will be in oder within the year. As i'm sure you've guessed by now I have well over what the machine is worth tied up in repairs, but i've enjoyed tinkering with it over the winter months and have learned much along the way.
At one point, i think I saw a posting on here that gave a link to a site that sold H2 hydraulic kits for the 316 - can anybody send me that link - mights as well go for broke - thanks!! :confused2:
