John Deere 3120 ,Whats it worth?

2005 JD 3120,300x loader, 447 backhoe, hydrostatic tranny , 580 hours. They are asking $19900 for it. I think that price is a few thousand dollars to high. I have not seen this tractor in person, so i really dont know if it is in like new condition as stated by the seller. Thanks for all replies.

These tractors sold new 5 years ago for $25k. I cant believe that they hold their value that much. I am new to tractors so just bear with me.

Dunno if this is still for sale though, but I saw this 3320 with Loader and backhoe for $23k

That price is what my dealer asked for a similar machine last summer. If the seller is a dealer, the price is a bit high but not excessively so. For a private sale, he's probably $2000-$3000 too much.
Be advised that the 3120 was considered a bit underpowered (might be why Deere dropped them)...there are TBNers who have them and love 'em...but they did have that reputation of not enough power for the size of the machine.

I have a 3120 and have been happy with it. I it has the 300 cx loader and 300 hours on it when I paid $15k for it last fall. It is very clean, but it does not have a backhoe on it.

You bet it does!! Just need to determine if you need a backhoe enough to justify those extra dollars...I can't.
