I'm wondering if there are any recommended aftermarket 32.5" cat 2 lift arms for my john deere 301. (Similar to 1020) I currently have cat 2 arms but they are very short. I recently purchased a drum mower and can't hook up the pto with the short arms.
I know the factory part numbers are ar77530 or AT19849. However they are $200 each used.

Thanks,
Jeff

Another option is shorten the PTO shaft...

I'm hoping to avoid that if possible. The mower just doesn't seem to sit properly with the short arms. The only thing I use the short arms on are my brush hog. Everything else's uses the 32.5 class 1 arms. If I upgrade to the 32.5 class 2 arms I would just need to use bushings for my other implements and no longer have to swap out the arms.

Just go to a CAT 1 pin on the implement. Never in my life heard of changing lift arms unless it broke .

Thank you for the advice. The draft pins are solid welded through the frame. I was able to find a salvage yard that was willing to ship me a used set for $250.
