John Deere 285 Fuel Injection Not Stating

I have a John Deere 285 Liquid cooled kawasaki fuel injection. It is getting spark to the spark plugs with a bluish/white spark. Just replaced the fuel pump and gas is going to the injectors. It will turn over but it will not fire up to start. Any suggestions? Thank you.

have you pulled out the injector to see if it is indeed spraying fuel?
does the engine run if you drip a little gasoline down into the intake?

Thanks. Have not tried putting gas directly in.

The gas tank and lines have all been cleaned out. Fresh gas is in.

Do you have the fuel pressure relief screw on the 285 to relieve pressure, as when the machine runs out of fuel or when replacing the fuel filter?
Manual should have info if in question.
I have that on my X385, but don't know about the 285.

Ha...I'm back! Sorry for the long delay. I have over 45 lawn tractors so I go back and forth. Here is the update. It starts when fuel is poured direct into the intake of the injector. It sounds great!. Gas is being pumped to the injector but it is not returning back to the tank. The efi pump is new and has the correct psi. Someone thought increasing the pump size from a low to a high and that didn't work. Any thoughts? Someone also suggested that it could be the mother board.

it sounds like a problem at the injector, which i'm not sure is serviceable.
i'm sure something in the module tells the injector when to inject, so it still could
be an eletronic issure, or the injector is plugged. hard to tell without more
diagnosis.

I soaked the injector in carb cleaner. I also was able to open the other side while forcing compressed air into it.

You could also use you ohm meter to check the coil on the injector. Remove the connector and probe the injector contacts. You should get some kind of reading in the low ohm region. Open is bad as is short, i.e. less than a 1 ohm.

What engine is in your 285?
