Hello.
I am trying to figure out what happened to my little John Deere 2720.
I had the charge pump recently replaced, however, the steering is very spongy and difficult to turn. Oddly enough, when I engage the PTO, the steering seems to improve. I also notice the hydrostatic drive seems very noisy and reduced response.
Seems to be air in the line which surges out when I crack a line in the system.
Suspecting a relief or bypass valve? Any idea where this is located on this tractor?
Thanks.
