can't decide!!! i really like and respect all three dealers...i have demoed all of them and really feel that they all will do the job...i probably liked the john deere the most but i am having a rough time convincing myself it is worth the extra money.

here is the breakdown all units have a 60" inch mmm jd is 62"
john deere 2305 = $11,100
massey 2300 = $10,250
tz25da =$ 10,495

i hear alot of people say its a coin toss...any thoughts would be appreciated. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Not really a wrong choice any way you go, BUT...
Pay the difference, you won't regret it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It is definitely a coin toss. There is not enough difference in cost to lean one way or the other. Go with the one in which the controls, pedals etc are the most comfortable to you, since you state all 3 dealers are well respected.

I personally went with the 2305 because the controls fit me better than the others. That's the deciding factor when the dealer service is the same.

GridIron,
I'd have to back-up what others have said. You've driven each of them now try to imagine what it will be like to hop on and off each of them repeatedly. I went with the 2210 and have been thrilled with my choice. Due to my height it provided the best fit for me and the most legroom. Maybe go back to see each and hop on and off each just to see how it fits. Given the quality of all three products it is now a choice of which one you find most comfortable. Remember, you'll want to be comfortable operating it and its controls. Good luck with your choice.

Gridiron,

First I will state that I have a New Holland so I am prone to push people that way. But in all sincerity if the John Deere is the one you like, your talking $650.00 over what, a twenty year period. If the John Deere is the one you like then get that one. Yes you could buy another piece of attachment but in the long run you will be much happier. New Holland just got into the sub's a few years back, John Deere has maybe been in them a bit longer but the 2305 is a new rig. As far as reliability I don't think one is better than the other, all are good units.

Good luck in your decision.

I had the 2210 for 18 months and put 380 hard hours in it. I was always surprised at how much I could do with it. Most of those hours were with loader (mostly digging rather than scooping material from a pile), subsoiler and boxblade. Check out my pics for some of what I did with it.

Good luck.

If you really like the JD over the rest but are still having a hard time deciding there is one feature that the 2305 has that the others don't - you can quick attach/detach the FEL bucket on the JD - the other two do not have this feature.

If you plan on ever swapping another type of bucket, forks, a plow, etc. onto your FEL this feature will help make it worth the extra $$ you will spend on the JD.

Grid, As others have said "operator comfort" is a consideration also one thing that might make a difference is , Do you plan on taking off the MMM ? If so which one of the three have the most user friendly removal? If they are all about the same buy the Deere if its the one your leaning towards...
That little bit of difference in $$ (although it is easy for me to say) isn't worth the feeling of "I wish" I was sitting on Green /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Would just like to add another dimension. Shouldn't you also take into acccount which machine will best retain its value.

i have been told that the jd does retain its value over the others, but it also costs more to begin with...i'm really considering a front snow blade now for the tractor as opposed to a rear blade...any thoughts on that...thanks for the help! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
