Hello all first time poster on this forum. As the title states I own a 2008 2210 with 700 hours on the clock. From the previous threads I've read prior to the purchase of this tractor a few years ago. I was aware of one the plastic cooling fan that's valuable to damage and the u- joint being just about impossible to grease. And I've tried to grease with the ways others suggest with no luck. The original owner also a friend of my wife's moved out of state hence the sale of it. He claimed that it was always serviced at our local dealership. So I stopped by to ask how they greased them. I recieved a laugh and a sentence followed by good luck. And a mechanic did poke his head out and I asked him the Same question. He said they have a special tool and walked away.
So I'm the type that works on all my own stuff . And the reason above is clearly why I do. After I bought this I did replace the plastic fan and the one u joint at the transmission side. Witch was never greased dry as a bone. So my question is the video I will try and post of a guy replacing the same joints on a 2320 are they the Same dimension as my 2210 drive shaft as the 2320 as it would make me actually able to grease them both. Thanks for any information as I'd rather know before disassembling so the tractor is not down waiting for parts. Ok won't let me post links yet. But it was a napa 410 universal u joint number.
