john deere 2020 power steering

I have an early JD 2020with closed center hydraulics and open center power steering with a pwr-steering pump on the front of the engine block. I would like to do away with the power steering pump, as it is leaking oil into the engine, and run the power steering off the closed center main pump like the later 2020's. does anyone know if the steering housing and valve off the later closed center tractors will bolt on my early tractor?

I think you need to acquire and study the hyd schematics in the JD tech manual for a 2020 which is Service Manual CD-ROM SM2072CD 2020 Series Tractors
