John Deere 1050 Engine Rebuild

Hi,

I have a 1986 JD 1050 and need to have engine rebuilt since the middle rod bearning was shot. Does anyone know of a good place to have this engine rebuilt? The engine model is 3T90TJ.

I live in Western New York, but wouldn't mind traveling if I can find a good rebuilder.

Look for a good machine shop in your area that does engine work, will save yourself a few dollars if you do the disassembly. that Yanmar 3t90t is a fairly simple engine to rebuild, ask around and I am sure you can find someone in your area. Yanmar does offer reman short and long blocks not sure of the cost but worth checking into.
