Jinma 224
This rock was buried in the ground where I was levelling the ground for a slab. I caught the rock with my BoxBlade and destroyed the BoxBlade. However, the rock is no match for a chain and the Jinma...

What type of Boxblade were you using? Was it a light duty box?

King Kutter XB 4'. I thought they were supposed to be pretty tough. Next time, it'll be Midwest.

I have seen different versions of the Kingkutter. It must have been pretty light duty to have destroyed it.

What is your beef with a manual? You've said that before. It has nothing to do with this thread.

You did a real nice /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif job building your tractor and I'm surprized that your 224 pulled a rock that size. I'm in the Northeast(upstate New York) also. Where do you suggest I purchase one? I'd rather get a crate unit as I'm a rather fussy mechanic and want to save as much as possible. Any input appreciated. Thanks, Harry Gubler /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I'm in cental MA, actually grew up in upstate NY, Corning area. There are three dealers that I have spoken with and/or dealt with. Tractorloft.com (Coastal Tractor), Bolton Power Equipement, and Puma Machinery. All within 4 hours of Albany. Each one has different strengths. Tractorloft is who I deal with for crate products. I'm getting a chipper for under $1600 in a crate next month. If you have specific questions, the email link on my website will send to me directly and I'd be happy to answer any questions. Another real good source of info is the Chinese Tractors Owners Association (www.ctoa.net). A couple of the guys that post there all the time are in upstate NY themselves and may have better local sources.

As for rocks, I've moved ones twice that size by wrapping the chain and using a bowling ball sized rock as a fulcrum. I'll have pics up on the site next week.
