My Jinma 354 tractor has a broken shifting fork for gears 1&2. I have taken the top of the gear box off and found the broken part. It looks like the transmission and the clutch housing needs to be separated to get the part installed on the shaft. Is this correct or is there an other way to get that shaft out of there?

Holly cow I get to answer my own question!!! For those out there that need to know, I found a local mechanic that is savy on these things. He just tapped the piece of the shifting fork left on the shaft to drive the shaft past the end of the housing enough to make room to remove the fork. Have to drive the spring pin out of the fork/shaft and there you go. I thought that was a blind hole in there but turns out some bright engineer ( there are those out there ) thought it might be easier make room to get that shaft out than to dissassemble the entire tractor.
