Hello all!
I recently bought a Jinma 284 with FEL and I've noticed the P.O. has completely removed the shuttle shift mechanism. The original shuttle shift lever was straightened and welded directly to the shift pawl on the right side of the case. It constantly interferes with the left brake pedal & park brake lever.
So, I'd like to restore the shuttle shift mechanism but my biggest concern is how to route the shift cable. I know it passes under the steering column from left to right then somehow, routes down the right side of the transmission case to the bell crank - where it translates to another lever (with the turnbuckle) then to the actual shift pawl. I've also noticed what appears to be a cable holder under the right floorboard, presumably for the shift cable?
Could anyone post some photos showing the cable routing from under the instrument panel down the right side of the tractor.
Jim
