Yes, there are two of them on the back of the seat. They are Rubber type springs (round cylinders, 2" diameter, ~2" tall) that are bolted to the seat pan under the foam and then have a threaded insert that bolts to the seat spring mount. I can attach a picture if that helps. These rubber springs look like they are in really good shape. Not hard nor cracking.
I am guessing they are there just in case the metal springs bottom out so you will have a little more cushion.
The seat is in very bad shape (hence the replacement) so it was easy to tear the foam and vinyl away to reveal the rubber spring seat pan bolts. Of course the nut, bolt, and seat pan are rusted like crazy as this tractor was stored outside by the PO.
I tried an impact wrench on them and they wouldn't budge. They are now soaking with Kroil penetrant and I'll try again tonight to see if I can break them loose.
I'll also grab the s/n then too.
