JD300 Industrial wiring harness

I need to do some serious rewiring on my JD300. Is there a source for buying a
prefab wiring harness. I could possibly get away with a wiring harness for a
JD1020.

I'd try Agri-Services. Their website is www.wiringharnesses.com. Can't say they are low cost, but the harnesses are good quality. They custom make these to fit specific tractors based off copies of OEM harnesses. I've ordered some from them and if you are keeping part of your old harnesses that are undamaged, the new one will plug right in.
