This is a really weird problem and I suspect a bad or broken earth wire.
As soon as I engage the PTO both the temperature and fuel gauge go full scale.
This also happens when I apply the brake or turn the lights on.
I just realise the one thing they all have in common. A light on the dash turns on when any of the above is turned on.
If I turn the engine off and then turn the ignition key back on then, even though any of the above is turned on, the gauges settle back to the correct value.
One might say "big deal, all still works so don't worry about it" but my main issue is the temperature gauge while mowing. It's sitting over full scale and that's pretty useless. If I do have a temperature issue, I wouldn't know until it's too late.
I can probably solve this issue if I had the electrical drawings for the X595.
Now my question is does anyone have those drawings or has someone seen this problem before and fixed it.
Kind regards,
Frits Schouten.
