I'm looking to purchase a hydraulic top link for my 3320. I noticed that JD offers a Hydraulic Top-n-Tilt kit but do they offer a Hydraulic Top Link kit only?

Has anyone out there ordered a Hydraulic Top Link kit for their 3x20 series tractor? If so, what was the make and model? What was the length and stroke? Are there any other details I need to know about?

I just bought the entire top and tilt kit at a cost of $800 plus change. I forget the exact amount, for my 3120. I already checked with the dealer regarding installing only one cylinder and there is no top only or tilt only kit. For that, you need to piece them out. The cost of the tilt cylinder by itself is already $400+. Since I have the 3rd SCV, I am only able to use one cylinder. But with the entire kit priced at only slightly more than the cost to peice together one set, I chose to get the entire kit and keep the other in case I need to change or switch according to my needs. Eventually, I will either get the electric hydraulic diverter to allow the loader control to operate the top/tilt together, or I will figure out another way of getting additional connections at the rear. The kit includes all the parts you see in the attached pdf file. As you can see, it's a lot of little parts that makes it a hassle to collect. Since my tractor is under warranty, I also did not want to go aftermarket at this time for fear of voiding my factory warranty, although I imagine the cylinder at least, is much less costly going non-deere. There is one seller on ebay that does sell either the top or tilt cylinder for the deere tractor but it is for the cylinder only. You may want to do a search for "cylinder deere." I believe the seller is redmond equipment, or something like that.

I am pricing JD 4x20's right now and asked about the Top 'n Tilt. While the kit cost is one thing, I was told an electric diverter and fourth SCV would add an additional ~$1600. That seems unacceptably expensive, since a third SCV is only ~$400.

I might be in the market for the side cylinder if you just want the top cylinder!

The Electric Diverter Kit lists for $1167. The kit gives you a 4th and 5th SCV or a 3rd and 4th SCV if you don't already have a 3rd SCV. There is about 8 hours of labor associated with it, which is probably why you got a price of $1600. If you were inclined to do so, you could purchase the kit for $1167 and install it yourself.

I would probably spend the extra money for the Top-n-Tilt kit but just like you I don't want to spend the extra money for the diverter kit. I don't need the Tilt enough to justify it. I mostly want the Hydraulic Top for my Box Blade and Disc Harrow. I also want it since it makes hooking up to iMatch implements even easier. I supposed I could use it for my rotary cutter as well; to help mow up bankings.

KEG, if you are serious about wanting only a Tilt cylinder, send me a PM and we can talk more about it. The JD TnT Kit lists for $828.

Has anyone used a CCM hydraulic top link? They have one on their website for around $200 plus a hose kit for $35. This is the ball park I was looking in. I was hoping to get one for about $200 to $300.

Whilst almost unreasonably expensive, the TNT + electric diverter options have been a valuable option to me. The diverter switch sucks if you are wearing gloves, but the rest of the package is grade A.
If using I-Match and placing attachments willy nillly as I do about the premises, the tilt component is highly valuable. Off grade? No problema!
I will admit, however, that hookup is the majority of the use the tilt potion recieves. On a few occasions, when blading off-camber, and trying to get something flat, it can be a lifesaver.

Actually, the electric diverter is not a 4th SCV. Rather, it permits the loader control to operate 2 more functions by switching the function from front (loader) to rear (top 'n tilt?). The 3rd SCV is actually a 3rd valve that operates only 1 function. Therefore, with the 3rd SCV and diverter option, you will have the ability to hook up 3 more functions to rear of tractor.
