JD Gator Linkage Issue

My dad an I have a 4x2 gator bought used...the problem is the linkage isn't right, don't know if a spring is missing or in the wrong place, the throttle doesn't go back to the idle position. If anyone has a picture of the proper linkage routing or a scan of the manual I would greatly apprecate it! Thanks
