JD 790 battery life..

Had to put a new battery in my dads 2001 790 (barely used with only 350 hrs on it)... he bought it in the fall of 2001, first replacement everstart battery was dated 2003 - Dont think 15 yrs on a Walmart Everstart 58-3n battery is too bad. LOL

replaced it with a new/same everstart... Anybody want to take bets of this one will last 15 yrs? Im guessing it won't

My neighbor came by yesterday. He bought my 770 years ago, and it sits in a container all winter. He was saying how impressed he is that the thing starts immediately.

Yanmar quality, I said! I guess a tractor like that doesn't take much out of a battery.
