JD 655 - how much weight? SDJD

Got a JD 655 with a KK finish mower. I'm in need of some front suit case weights and have got a couple of questions.

1. How much weight do I need? Will 5 41lbers work?

2. Does any own a 655 and is as cold blooded as mine?

South Dakota is where I call home....AKA God's Country.

I believe your front bumper will hold 5 weights, and that should be fine for you. Expect to pay about $1 a pound for them new.

Thanks for the info Kennyd !! That's what I found out. Any thoughts on 41lbs or go for the 70lbs? Sorry kind of new at this. (born on a farm till the early
80's crunch........things went south for many).

I am not sure if the 70 pound weights will even fit on the rack...
